This is simply a test post to see whether I can actually post a concept map in a blog. This is very new to me, so please let me know if it is readable. Here's hoping it turns out okay.
Thankyou for the feedback. I initially created the concept map in Microsoft Word. Once printed out, I scanned the image to my computer and saved it as a jpeg file, that way I was able to upload it relatively quickly to my posting. There is probably a simpler way, but it worked well for me. It was definately a challenge, because prior to this unit, I had no idea how to do it! So I figured I should have a pratice before I try to submit the real thing for Blog 1. It has definately been a good learning curve for me.
We can shorten the steps by avoiding any printing and scanning. With the map showing on your screen, use the Print Screen button (if you're on a PC?). This captures the full screen being displayed onto the clipboard. Then you can paste this into your image editing software (what did you use?) and crop it.
